Delhi-Manali-Ladakh Motorbike Trip (Delhi to Delhi)

THE ITINERARY

 

Day 01:

Board the Volvo bus from Delhi to Manali and spend the night on the bus. The distance covered will be approximately 560 km and the journey time will be around 12 hours. The bus departs at 4 PM from Delhi Volvo station.

Day 02:

Arrive in Manali early in the morning and check in at a guest house for freshening up. After breakfast, start your motorbike ride towards Jispa, crossing the Atul Tunnel and the beautiful villages of Lahul Valley. This will be the first day of your Manali to Srinagar via Ladakh bike trip, riding over the legendary Manali Leh road. Reach Jispa and check in at the camp/hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03:

After breakfast, begin your ride toward Zanskar on the newly opened road. Although the journey will be a bit challenging, you’ll be rewarded with some of the best landscapes. Cross the Shingo La pass and take pictures with the grand mountain Gumbo Ranjan (Mahakal) and river crossings. Finally, arrive in Padum and spend the night at a guest house.

Day 04:

Start your ride towards Kargil after breakfast. En route, cross Pensi La and Suru Valley, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ladakh. It’s a long journey, and you’ll cross some of the most beautiful areas of the region before reaching Kargil for an overnight stay.

Day 05:

After breakfast, visit the Dras war memorial if you wish, and then start riding towards Leh. Cross some of the most beautiful areas of Ladakh and visit Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, and the confluence of Zanskar and Indus. Check-in at the hotel in Leh for an overnight stay.

Day 06:

Start your ride to Nubra Valley at 8 AM, crossing over Khardung La (the highest motorable road in the world) at 5602 M / 18,390 Ft. From the pass, you can see all the way south over the Indus Valley to seemingly endless peaks. Check-in at the camp in Nubra Valley for an overnight stay.

Day 07:

Early in the morning, start your ride towards Pangong Lake through the Shyok Valley, covering a distance of approximately 160 km. Check in at the camp on arrival and spend the night there.

Day 08:

Start your ride towards Leh back, covering a distance of around 130 km. Check in at the hotel on arrival and spend the rest of the day exploring Leh. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 09:

Start your ride towards Sarchu in the morning, crossing 45 km Moore Plains, Lachung La, Nakila, and 22 Gata loops. Check in at the camp on arrival and spend the night there.

Day 10:

Start your ride from Sarchu to Manali and reach Manali by evening. Freshen up at the guest house and then transfer to the Manali Volvo stand to board the bus for Delhi. Spend the night on the bus.

Day 11:

Arrive in Delhi in the morning

  • Basic spares parts for the bike (any damage/ change of spares payable as extra directly)
  • Accompanied guide for the entire tour on a bike for more than 6 bikes
  • One Motorbike Mechanic for the entire tour on a bike
  • Inner line Permit (camera fee not included)
  • Volvo tickets from Delhi to Manali and Manali to Delhi
  • First aid box and oxygen cylinder
  • Presently applicable taxes
  • Backup jeep for more than 06 riders

Cost does not include:

  • Entrances to the place of a visit
  • Any other meal than mentioned in the itinerary
  • Any personal or travel Insurance, tips, gratuities, portage, laundry, telephone calls, table drinks, or any other expenses of personal nature, any item not specified under cost inclusions.
  • International / Domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any kind of insurance cover
  • Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like a change in flight and train schedule; cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, etc
  • Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/ stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks, and/or any factors beyond control.
  • Cost for any medical / rescue evacuation due to mishaps
